People may tend to fall into the trap of saying their going to do something, start strong and then slip back into their same old habits.
Here are four tips on how I stay motivated which may help you..
TIP ONE – START YOUR DAY THE NIGHT BEFORE.
Spending 5-10 minutes before you go to bed to prep and plan for the next day is SOOOO beneficial. I can’t stress this enough! Write it down, type it into your phone memos, scribble on a post-it-note. ANYTHING. As long as you have your day written down and you are aware of what you NEED to accomplish in the next 24 hours then you are already ahead of the game.
TIP TWO – REMIND + REFRESH
Tip one is something that should be done daily. However, reminding yourself of short, medium and longterm goals should be done continuously throughout the day, week, month, year!! Always make sure you’re refreshing your mind on WHY you are doing what you are doing.
TIP THREE – BEAUTY SLEEP.
This is a vital component if you want to CONSISTENTLY KICK ASS LONGTERM. Its so important that you are giving your body enough sleep so you have enough energy to smash every goal you make with quality and passion! TIP FOUR – LOOK BACK + APPLAUD.
Lastly, NEVER forget how far you’ve come. What better way of motivating yourself than looking back on ALL the stuff YOU’VE accomplished and ALL the way YOU’VE come?! So when you DO smash that goal, make sure you reward yourself! Treat yourself to a spa day, splurge on something a bit £££, or you can just acknowledge what you’ve done and tell everyone and their nan about it.
